Megan D’Angelo received her M.A. in Forensic Mental Health Counseling from John Jay College of Criminal Justice .

Megan has experience working with people with a wide variety of ages, cultures, mental health diagnosis, and life struggles. With a person-centered approach, Megan can work with almost any individual in order to help them guide themselves towards their therapeutic goals. Megan recognizes that through self-reflection, clients can reveal their strengths, areas of improvement, and self destructive patterns. In realizing these, Megan helps guide clients to foster positive change.
Megan employs comprehensive and eclectic approaches to therapy by integrating evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), motivational interviewing, and positive psychology into her practice. Megan is well versed in practicing with a trauma informed approach and is seeking training in Cognitive Processing Therapy.
